More House School, Frensham

Transformative independent boarding and day school for boys with literacy and language-related special educational needs.

More House School (Frensham) empowers boys with literacy and language based educational needs (including Dyslexia and DLD) to thrive in response to a mainstream, academic curriculum, transforming their futures through high-quality, inclusive teaching, specialist support and exceptional pastoral and boarding care. Our ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted 2026) residential community offers full and weekly options and part time boarding places. Life in boarding is active, structured, and full of opportunity—a transformational experience where neurodiverse boys find their voice, build friendships, and grow in independence.

In 30 acres, we nurture academic, creative, sporting, personal and social development, delivering an ambitious mainstream curriculum through bespoke adaptive teaching and therapeutic support. Main points of entry are Years 4–6, Year 7 and Year 12. Starting in the Junior Years means benefitting from the entire More House journey, and Year 7 brings a supported transition into the senior school. Sixth Formers joining from other schools discover a fresh start in an environment designed specifically for learners with literacy and language based weaknesses. Pupils consistently achieve above national averages at GCSE and A-Level, with the majority progressing to university and others entering training or employment. They leave More House equipped to thrive as independent, self-assured young men, contributing meaningfully to the world.
